Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Calamarii platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Calamarii reserves the right to update these terms at any time with notice to users.
2. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All taskers must complete Emirates ID verification before accepting tasks.
3. Task Posting & Completion
Task posters agree to provide accurate descriptions and fair budgets. Taskers agree to complete tasks as described and communicate any issues promptly. Both parties agree to use the in-app messaging system for task-related communication.
4. Payments & Escrow
All payments are processed through Stripe and held in escrow. Payment is released to the tasker upon task completion confirmation by the poster. Calamarii charges a commission of 10% for individual taskers and 15% for Pro businesses.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Tasks may be cancelled before a tasker is assigned with no fee. After assignment, cancellation policies vary by task type. Disputes are handled by our resolution team on a case-by-case basis.
6. Pro Business Accounts
Pro accounts require a valid UAE trade license and are subject to a monthly subscription fee. Pro businesses must maintain their license validity and comply with all applicable UAE regulations including VAT requirements.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not engage in fraudulent activity, harassment, or discrimination. Attempts to circumvent the escrow system or conduct transactions off-platform may result in account suspension.
8. Limitation of Liability
Calamarii acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not directly responsible for the quality of services provided by taskers. We provide dispute resolution services in good faith.
9. Privacy
Your use of Calamarii is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process personal data as described therein.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.
