What is the difference between Tasker and Licensed Business?+
Taskers are individual freelancers who verify with Emirates ID. Licensed businesses have a UAE trade license and get a verified business badge, access to high-value tasks, and can choose between free (15% commission) or paid (0% commission) plans.
How does the Tasker commission work?+
Taskers start at 15% commission. As you complete more tasks, your commission drops to 10% after 51 tasks (Elite tier). This discount is automatic and permanent.
Is it really free to join?+
Yes, completely free. No signup fee, no annual fee. We only take a small commission when you complete tasks.
Do customers pay any platform fees?+
Customers pay nothing to join or browse. When a customer posts a task and accepts your offer, a 15% service fee is added to your price. When customers book your listed services directly, they pay your listed price with no extra fee.
Can I switch between Business plans?+
Yes. Licensed businesses can switch from the free plan (15% commission) to the Unlimited plan (99 AED/month, 0% commission) at any time. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your billing period.
How and when do I get paid?+
Payment is charged at booking and processed securely through Stripe. Payouts to taskers are processed biweekly (every 2 weeks) via bank transfer.
Are there any hidden fees?+
No hidden fees. Task posters pay no platform fees. The commission is deducted from the tasker payout, not added to the poster's bill.
